Alice Nelson Poling

Alice Faye Nelson Poling, 71, of Parkersburg, passed away at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

She was born October 24, 1951, in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Russell and Gloma Moody Nelson. She enjoyed babysitting children and had a love of animals.

Alice is survived by her son, Rodney Nelson (Susan); grandchildren, Cortney Lawyer (Trace) and Emily Nelson; and brothers-in-law, Rodney Poling (Pete Harris) and Jeff Poling (Della).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert “Wayne” Poling earlier this month on December 10.

There will be no public visitation or service.
