Andrew O. Britton Jr.

Andrew O. Britton Jr., 69, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away peacefully September 27, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Son of the late Andrew O. Britton Sr. and Amanda Arlena (McDonald) Britton, Andrew was born August 3, 1956. He loved playing music on all types of instruments, was quite the comedian, and was full of love and compassion for all. He was enjoyed and loved by anyone who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his five brothers, Arnold, Scott, Joseph, Glenard and John Britton; and three sisters, Wanda Sue Britton Conway, Carol Ann Britton Simmons, and Lulabelle Britton.

He is survived by his three children, Andrew O. Britton III, Jeremy Lee Britton, and Amy Sue Britton; their mother, Nora Thompson; sister, Deborah Lynn Britton Pickens; and his life partner of 25 years, Colleen Windland.

Memorial donations can be made to Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home to assist with Andrew's services. A private cremation will take place and a memorial service will be announced by the family at a later time. Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home is honored to serve the Britton family.
