Annaleise Rose Vest

Annaleise Rose Vest, 21, of Saint Albans, West Virginia, gained her angel wings Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at home after a courageous battle with Sanfilippo Syndrome.

She was born on March 10, 2005, in Charleston, West Virginia, a daughter of Jeremy "Jerry" Vest and Kiersten Smith Hebert.

Annaleise was dearly loved by her devoted father.

In addition to her parents, her memory will be carried in the hearts of her brothers, Landon Vest and Roman Vest; paternal grandmother, Sara Kessler; maternal grandmother, Deen Ann Walker (Doug Smith); and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, James Kessler; maternal grandfather, Gary Walker; and sister, Allexis Noelle Vest.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice Care for their diligent care and compassion.

No public visitation or service will be conducted. Her family will grieve Annaleise's passing in private.
