Barbara Husk

Barbara Husk, 82, of Parkersburg, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg.

She was born May 26, 1941, in Spencer, WV, a daughter of late Vergie Isabelle Milhoan Rhodes.

Barbara was a custodian and she cared for her family. She will be missed by her son, Michael Husk (Laura) of Parkersburg; two daughters, Norma McCartney (Bruce) of Akron, OH and Dora Nicholas of Vienna; one sister, Diane Kimball (Dave); one brother, Richard Anderson; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by three sons, Richard, Jeffery, and Samuel Husk; and one daughter, Barbara Nicholas.

Her final wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service be held 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Goodyear Heights Metro Park, 2077 Newton Street, in Akron, OH .
