Bernice Yvonne (Bonnie) Downie

Bernice Yvonne "Bonnie" Downie, 67, of Davisville, WV passed away March 31, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 6, 1949 in Parkersburg a daughter of Delores Mae Hart Wagnon and the late Paul Eugene Davis. She was a cashier at Kroger for over 40 years and was a member of the American Legion. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters Melanie (Bill) Guinn and Tara Downie both of Parkersburg, one brother, Robert Kenneth (Lisa) Davis of Parkersburg, two sisters, Tami (Michael) Sullivan of Alabama and Tonia (Daryl) Weaver of Florida and four grandchildren, Brayden and Aasher Guinn and Jordan and Justin Walker and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Donations may be made to Strecker Cancer Center, Memorial Health Foundation, 401 Matthew St., Marietta, Ohio 45750 or Parkersburg Humane Society, 530 29th St., Parkersburg, WV 26101. As per her request, there will be no services. Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg is assisting the family with cremation.
