Betty I Mcclead Blair

Betty I. McClead Blair, 92, of Parkersburg passed away at her home on May 14, 2016. She was born August 23,1923 in Ritchie County, WV a daughter of the late Everett and Eva Goodwin McClead.She was a Baptist by Faith and was a homemaker. She is survived by four sons, Everett (Leslie) Blair, John (Eula) Blair, Jr, Bill (Paula ) Blair and Lorne (Michelle) Blair, three daughters, Sandra (Harold) McNemar, Jenny (Joe) Wheeler, and Cora Whited, one brother, Clifford James (Charlotte) McClead, three sisters, Violet Hill, Kay Brown and Maxine (Jr.) Smith, 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren, and her best friend and companion, “Cookie”. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John Blair, Sr., three children, one granddaughter, Becky Brown, three brothers, Everett McClead, Jr, Chester McClead, and Buddy McClead, one sister, Ilene McClead, one son-in-law, Michael Whited. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral service on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521-5th St., Parkersburg with Burial following at Evergreen South Cemetery.Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. also at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, May, 18, 2016.
