Brenda Sue Poole

Brenda Sue Poole, 64, of Vienna, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, West Virginia, on Monday, September 21, 2026, with her devoted husband and brother by her side.

Born in Waverly, WV, on December 6, 1961, Brenda was a beloved wife, sister, and friend to many.

Brenda was a child of God, and she worshipped with the Church of Christ at Marrtown Road. Brenda's love of God was witnessed in her warmth and kindness. She had a heart full of love, and she shared generously with her family and friends.

Brenda showed a kind love to others. Remembering them with a card on special occasions, clipping newspaper articles to share with others, and sharing puzzles, scriptures, and other print items to lift another person's day. Brenda will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of those who loved her, including her husband of 35 years, Kevin Poole; brother, Brady Stephens; nephew, Parker Stephens; mother-in-law, Velma Poole; brothers-in-law, Bryan Poole (Tammy), Larry Poole, and Bill Ellison; cousin, Kenny Robinson who was like a brother to her; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles David Stephens and Donna Joan Stephens; father-in-law, Howard Poole, and sisters-in-law, Karen Ellison, and Jennifer Sue Stephens.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2026, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Victor Casenelli officiating. Services will conclude with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A visitation with family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
