Carolyn Diane Johnson

Carolyn Diane Johnson, 74, of Harrisville, West Virginia, and formerly of Parkersburg, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at Pine View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Harrisville, where she was lovingly known as “Sissy."

She was born September 20, 1951, in Wood County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late William Wallace and Della Pearl Smith Johnson.

Carolyn was the last member of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Kenneth, and Robert Johnson; and sisters, Freda Stoneking, Anna Chaplick, Ruby Hajjar, Mary Hammett, Hilda Murray, and Lena Murray.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Johnson who cared for her; and niece, Debra Bumgarner.

There will be no public visitation or service. Carolyn had prearrangements with Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home and in keeping with her wishes she will be interred beside her parents at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Parkersburg, West Virginia.
