David L. Cottrill

June 16, 1939 — June 15, 2025

David L. Cottrill, 85, of Parkersburg, passed away June 15, 2025, in the care of his wife of 60 years, Diane Ritton Cottrill and Housecalls Hospice.

He was born in Lewis County, WV on June 16, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lottie Clem Cottrill and a brother, James Cottrill.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his sister-in-law, Lucinda Ritton Nekoranec; nephew, William Nekoranec (Jesica); and several relatives in Ohio.

There will be no public visitation or service.
