Foster "Jack" Wilson

Foster "Jack" Wilson, 94, of Belleville, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Worthington Healthcare Center.

He was born in Mineral Wells, West Virginia on July 11, 1932, son of the late Lenore Bowen. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shelby Creel.

Foster had served our country honorably with the United States Army. He then went on work as a diesel technician at Matheny Motors, Rish Equipment (as field supervisor), Gress Equipment (as Vice-President and General Manager), and he ended his career as a Diesel Instructor at Washington State College in Marietta, Ohio.

His love was his wife of 73 years, Betty Lou Wigal Wilson. In addition to his wife, Foster is survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home. Services will conclude with interment in Sunset Memory Gardens with full military honors. A visitation of family and friends will be Sunday, August 23, 2026, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service time.
