Freddie Gay Allman, 75, of Parkersburg passed away at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home on May 14, 2016. He was born August 8, 1940 to the late Fredrick Basil and Chloe Belle Kerr Allman.He was a member of the Gates Ridge United Methodist Church and was a Fork Lift Operator for Ideal Box Company and also worked in Maintenance at Cedar Grove Nursing Home.He loved fishing. He is survived by two daughters, Diane Shaffer and Angie Thomas of Mineral Wells, WV, three sisters, Mary Casto of Mineral Wells, WV, Velma (Everett) Beha and Freda (Carl) Taylor both of Parkersburg, one grandson, William Shaffer, one great-grandson, Nevin Shaffer and his Best Friend, Grover Thompson. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one son, Freddie Basil Allman, six brothers, Carl, Richard, Benny, Virgil, Clarden, and Harold Allman, three sisters, Lorena Patterson, Sicily Horner and Telma Grace Mitchell, and one grandson, Kyle Smith. Friends and Family are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg with the Reverend Eddie Leisure officiating.Burial will follow at Gates Ridge Cemetery, Rockport, WV.Visitation will be on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
