Frederick Albert Goldsbrough

Frederick Albert Goldsborough, 87, of Parkersburg, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at home. He was born December 27, 1938, in Jamaica Queens, NY, a son of the late Francis and Josephine Sephton Goldsborough.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Frederick honorably served his country aboard the USS Myles C Fox DD 829. He was a board member for Trinity Christian Church. Frederick was a gun enthusiast, he also enjoyed reading and painting in his spare time and had a special interest in airplane radio control and leather working.

Left to carry on Frederick’s memory include his daughter, Melisa Greene (Jeff); step-children, Randy Valentine (Brenda), Hope Hoskinson, and Melody Deiterich (Cecil); son-in-law, Lester Parker; grandchildren, Kevin Riffle (Nicole), Kimberly Loomis (Brandon), and Kelsey Duggan (Petey); Kody Riffle (Sarah); and great grandchildren, Kevin, Lauren, Avery, and Riley.

In addition to his parents, Frederick was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lee Roberts Goldsborough; stepdaughter, Pamela Parker; son-in-law, Dave Hoskinson; and siblings, Ellen, George, and Patricia.

In honoring Frederick’s wishes, there will be no service at this time.
