George H. Cole

George H. Cole, 69, of Parkersburg, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Camden Clark Medical Center.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Evelyn Hill Cole and Martin Cole, Sr. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Cole.

A graduate of Magnolia High School and St. Leo University, George retired from the United States Navy after serving 25 years.

He leaves behind many to carry his memory, including his daughters, Sunni Danelle Purviance (Sam) and Erika Diane Kopinski; grandchildren, Monet, Solomon, and Abe; significant loved one, Charlene Bradford; and sister, Lynn Cole Eidom.

George had made his prearrangements with Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home. In keeping with his final wishes there will be no public visitation or service.
