Jeff Bennett

Jeff Bennett, 66, of Davisville, West Virginia, and formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.

He was a son of the late William Bennett Jr. and Patricia McKitrick Bennett. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by two daughters, Sommer Bennett and Nichole Bennett; two sisters, Deborah Bennett and Vicki True; and one great-grandchild, Brantley Cales.

Jeff loved, cared, and fought hard in every situation. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Reds, and NASCAR. He loved family gatherings and sporting events.

His loved ones include two daughters, April Bennett and Dawn Bennett; one brother, Michael Bennett (Mary); former spouse and dear friend, Sandy Hammond; ten grandchildren, Courtney, Valerie, Alyccia, Haleigh, Aaron, Aarika, Kiylee, Zaiden, Jazlyn, and Kynzly; four great-grandchildren, Bryson, Bryar, Ky'iree, and Ky'lanii; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home.
