John J. "Jay" Hall

John J. “Jay” Hall, 34, of Parkersburg, WV passed away unexpectedly at home on May 9th, 2016. He was born January 8th, 1982, the son of John “Big Jay” Hall and Brenda Richards, both of Parkersburg, WV. Jay loved his parents and considered them to be his best friends. He believed his five sons were his biggest accomplishments and his greatest blessings. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He loved anything outdoors: gardening, fishing, and 4 wheeling. Jay was very ornery and delighted in playing jokes. He loved to grill out and thought of himself as a grill master, especially when grilling anything “hot”. Although he will be deeply missed by his family and friends, Jay can be imagined sitting in Heaven, looking down, and plotting his next practical joke. He is survived by both parents: John “Big Jay” Hall and Brenda Richards, both of Parkersburg, WV; his five sons: Kyle and Caleb Hall, both of Vienna, WV and Brayden Davis, Colten Hall and Daylen Davis, all of St. Marys, WV; one sister: Misty (Jay) Deem of Davisville, WV; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Your life was a blessing; your memory a treasure; you are loved beyond words; and will be missed beyond measure!
