Loyd Andrew Dowler

Loyd Andrew Dowler, 79 of Parkersburg, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1946, to Floyd and Willie Lee Dowler.

Loyd was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his daughter, Alicia Watson (Nate), Amanda whom he considered a daughter, and two grandchildren, Summer Colvin and Jensen. Surviving siblings include Cindy Winans, Rebecca Bailey (Ronald), Lou Dowler (Julie), and Gary Dowler (Carolyn). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his special friends at the Dixie.

In addition to his parents, he will also be celebrating in heaven with two sisters, Patricia Ann and Wilma, as well as three brothers Larry, Floyd, and Bernie.

Per his wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
