Mary Louise Sims Hartleben

Mary Louise Sims Hartleben, 92, of Maidsville, WV and formerly of Parkersburg passed away March 28, 2016 at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV. She was born January 23, 1924 in Parkersburg a daughter of the late Benjamin and Martha Elizabeth Jauquay Turner. She was a member of the St. Margaret Mary’s Catholic Church and worked in sales at Stone & Thomas Dept. Store.She loved her family and also did embroidery for quilts. She is survived by a son, Greg (Pamela) Sims of Vienna, WV, three daughters, Judy (Don) Faulkner of Vienna, WV, Becky Dodd of Parkersburg and Susan (Steve) Ball of Maidsville, WV, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Eugene Sims, her second husband, Harry C. Hartleben, Jr., and a step-son, Harry C. Hartleben, III. Catholic Funeral Rite will be given by Deacon Doug Deem on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St., Parkersburg, WV.Viewing will also be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Parkersburg. Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
