Myrna Arlene Giffin

Myrna Arlene Giffin of Parkersburg passed away Monday, June 29, 2026.

She was the only daughter of the late Harvey D. and Arietta J. Shafer Butcher. In addition to her parents, Myrna was preceded in death by her brothers, Floyd, Lawrence, Okey, Paul, Robert, and Roger; her husband, Raymond Lloyd Giffin; and granddaughters, Courtney Giffin and Samantha Clark.

A loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, Myrna loved her family more than anything.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include her children, Zanetta Clark, Craig Giffin (Teresa), Gregg Giffin, Alice Hennen, and Dustin Giffin (Brandi); grandchildren, Shauna Hennen, Christopher Giffin (Taleena), Anthony Hennen, Derek Hennen (Marian), Joshua Giffin, Brittney Buck (Matt), Jacob Giffin, Sara White, Stephanie Moran (Reed), Elizabeth Clark, Emily Giffin, and Natalie Giffin; great-grandchildren, Addison Giffin, Jasmine Giffin, Blake Buck, Braxton Buck, Briley Buck, Elizabeth Grace White, and Riker Moran; and sisters-in-law, Carolyn Butcher and Ilene Butcher.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2026, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor John Witmer officiating. Services will conclude with interment at Evergreen South Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home.
