Orville C Nesselrotte

Orville C. Nesselrotte, 91, of Parkersburg, passed away January 14, 2016 at Carehaven of Pleasants. He was born June 2 , 1924 at Parkersburg, a son of the late William A. and Lucy McKitrick Dailey Nesselrotte. Orville was a member of the Rosemar United Methodist Church a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and retired from Corning Glass Co. He enjoyed woodworking, wildlife, traveling and his family. Surviving are three sons Orville L (Carolyn), Douglass, and Steven (Cathy) Nesselrotte, five daughters Nancy Guinn, Linda Seebaugh (Bob), Peggy Brookover (Mike), Alice Harper (partner David Shelton), and Sally Young (Mike), 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his wife Virgie in 2004, five brothers, 2 sisters and one grandchild. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday January 18, 2016 at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 5th St Parkersburg with Pastor Ed Lowe officiating, burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.The family will greet visitors from 2 pm to 7 pm on Sunday at the funeral Home and one hour prior to services Monday.
