He also did taxes for many people throughout his lifetime under Stone’s Tax Service, finally “retiring” at the age of 95.
Paul was a member of Summit Valley United Methodist Church, and the Williamstown Lions Club.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Kayla Bouchard and her husband, Jesse, who lived with and took care of Paul in the last years of his life. He is also survived by his son, Paul Stone Jr. of Merrit Island, Florida; stepson, Mark Riffle (Denese) of Jacksonville, Florida; grandsons, Nathan Riffle and Kyle Riffle; son-in-law, Frank Giberson of Parkersburg; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Stone; daughter, Lisa Giberson; and two brothers, Charles Stone and Everett Stone.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the great care and compassion given to Paul in recent months, and Eagle Pointe Healthcare Center, and they extend a special “Thank you” to long-time family friend, Stella Johnson, who assisted with his care.
