Richard M. Koenig

Richard Mathew Koenig, 67, of Elizabeth, W.Va. died Saturday, October 12, 2013. He was born January 21, 1946 at Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Mathew and Yvette Koenig. Mr. Koenig had been an auto mechanic and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.He was a member of the Newark Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Eddy Koenig; one daughter, Michelle McQueary of Costa Rica; two sons, Richard Koenig, Jr. of Ashland, Ohio and Lance Gaugler of Parma, Ohio; two step-daughters, Heather and Heidi; and sixteen grandchildren. Memorial services will be 4 P.M., Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the Newark Baptist Church with Pastor Dwight Brohard officiating.The Vaughan Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the Koenig family with arrangements.
