Robert "Bobby" Blankensop Iii

Robert “Bobby” Blankensop III, 42, of Parkersburg, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024.

He was born December 7, 1981, in St. Thomas, Virgina Islands, a son of Robert E. Blankensop Jr. and Linda Griffith Blankensop. Bobby played soccer while attending and graduated from Parkersburg South High School then served as ATO Fraternity president at Marietta College where he obtained his business degree.

Bobby was a people person, kindhearted and down-to-earth, enjoyed watching soccer on television and Notre Dame and WVU University sports. His favorite place to be was the beach.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Brandon Blankensop; aunts, Cathy Keup (Rick) and Susan Ewing (Steve); and uncle, Robert Griffith.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Robert E. Blankensop and Ann Blankensop.

His family will mourn his passing in private.
