Sandra Kay Cunningham

Sandra Kay Cunningham, 67, of Belleville, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 15th, 2026, at her residence.

Daughter of the late Granville Gale and Agnes June Ray, Sandra was born November 24, 1958, in Parkersburg, WV. She graduated from Parkersburg South High School and dedicated her life to being a homemaker, where she created a warm and loving environment for her family. Her home was a testament to her passion for decorating, especially during the Christmas season, when her creativity truly shone.

Known for her strong will and outspoken nature, Sandra had a zest for life that was evident in her many interests. She loved thrift shopping, always on the hunt for unique treasures. She enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors, was a devoted Christian and member of The Cross Church in Parkersburg, WV. But, above all, Sandra cherished the moments spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her former husband, "Buzz" Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 20 years, Dannie Cunningham, of Belleville, WV; daughter, Tiffaney Johnson; son, Jeremiah Johnson (Katie); grandchildren, Tiara Wilkinson (John), Alexander Fluharty, Natasha Fluharty, Hunter Johnson, and Kloe Johnson; great-grandchild, Oaklynn Wilkinson; brothers, Dale Ray (Regina), Rocky Ray, and Harvey Ray (Diana); and sisters, Sue Nichols and Debbie Preston.

Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 22, 2026 at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor David Bounds officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the funeral home, as well as, one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery North in Parkersburg, WV.
