William Elza Adams

William Elza Adams, 72, of Parkersburg, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Camden Clark Medical Center.

He was born in Marmet, West Virginia, a son of the late James Clifford Adams, Sr. and Ruby Pearl McCoy Adams Lukens.

William served in the United States Army and was skilled at construction work.

His memory will be held in the hearts of his three daughters, Chrissy Winans, Melissa Adams, and Amber Adams (Jacob); sons, Jeremy Adams and Josh Enoch; grandchildren, Ashley Miller (Justin), Aiden Roberts, Samantha Dornick (Codi), Daniel Bush (Fallon), Oaklen Miller, Eloise Hoblitzell, William Hoblitzell, Jordyn Adams, Marina Adams, Diane Adams; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Forrest, Alana, and Clay; siblings, Larry Adams (Lavada), June Ball (Gary), and Pam Wallace; sister-in-law, Barbara Adams.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by three brothers, James Adams Jr., Johnny Adams, and Richard Adams.

William had made his final wishes known in a prearrangement with Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home. In keeping with is requests there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of his family.
