Thomas M. Lamp

September 24, 1959 - February 27, 2022

Thomas Michael Lamp, 62, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born September 24, 1959 at St. Marys, W.Va., a son of the late Fred B., Sr. and Ruth V. Dutton Lamp. Tom was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as a laborer in the construction industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and caving. He was Baptist by faith. He is survived by a son, Benjamin H. Lamp and wife, Samantha of Parkersburg; a daughter, Megan N. Reeder and husband, Ryan of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Jetta N. and Nova J. Lamp and Raylen M. Reeder; one sister, Patricia Langsdorf; three brothers, Donald L. Lamp and wife, Denise of Marietta, Ohio, Douglas K. Lamp and wife, Donna of Waverly, W.Va. and Jack E. Boley and wife, Lou of Dayton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters. In honoring Tom’s wishes, he will be cremated and services will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vaughan-Kimes Funeral Home & Crematory, 521 – 5th Street, Parkersburg, W.Va.
